Complete PC Recycling Service is Launched

A complete PC recycling service has been launched to enable local businesses and individuals to dispose of their IT equipment, whilst at the same time helping the environment or local community.

Canterbury IT Company, ADM Computing, has been operating its non-profit making Charity PC Recycling Scheme for many years whereby PCs donated from local people and businesses are tested and repaired or updated and donated to charities back in the community.

Adrian Bryant, Managing Director of ADM Computing, originally sought advice from Kent ReMaDe to help recycle those PCs that were either too old to be given to charity or were unrepairable. It was at this point the new Kent and Medway Computer Waste Recycling Trial was launched.

The pilot initiative is a joint venture between ADM Computing, RBLI and ReMaDe and will provide central facility at RBLI's Aylesford site, for the County to recycle all computer waste rather than adding to local landfill.

If you have a computer you wish to recycle please contact Tracy Hadlow at ADM Computing on 01227 473500 or email ana.smith@adm-computing.co.uk.
